Module 4: Tool Use
SLOs:
– Students will understand differences in Oldowan and Acheulean stone tools and how they are made
– Students will understand the importance of tool use socially, culturally, and in terms of health/wellness
– Students will compare human tool use to tool use in other animals (ex: video of crow sledding down roof, primates using sticks and rocks). There is an emphasis on the evidence of planning in stone tools.
